Online Giving FAQs

• What types of bank accounts can I give from?
  You can give online from your checking account, MasterCard, Visa credit or debit cards.
  However, we recommend using the e-Check service since the processing fees are lower.
  
  
• How will I know that I set up my gift correctly?
  You will receive an email verifying your contribution immediately after submission. 
  
• Is any of my giving information available for others to see?
  Online Giving is managed by a secure third party provider that follows industry best practices for financial security.  Only a small number of authorized members of Hillside Community Church (HCC) staff and Hillside Finance Committee have access to Giving Reports.  No one on HCC staff has access to credit card or bank account numbers.
  
• How soon is money transferred from my checking account or credit card?
  Credit card transactions will appear within a business day.
  E-check giving from a bank account may take up to three business days before the money is transferred.
